Sinquefield Cup: So conserve son titre
20/08/2026 – Déjà vainqueur l'année passée, So remporte le Sinquefield Cup 2026, son troisième succès dans cette prestigieuse épreuve, après un match de barrage contre Pragg'. L'américain a dominé le tournoi en faisant usage de son sens du calcul pour s'économiser le plus possible. MVL a – comme souvent – manqué de chance en début de tournoi. Aussi n'a-t-il pas réussi à se hisser parmi les quatre premiers au classement général du Tour, et ne pourra donc pas jouer le tournoi final. Le classement final du Tour n'a d'ailleurs pas subi de changement majeur: les quatre qualifiés – So, Caruana, Pragg' et Keymer occupaient déjà les quatre premières places avant ce tournoi, même si pas dans le même ordre.
