Après leurs faux départs, les victoires d'Anna contre Nana Dzagnidze et de Mariya face à Tan Zhongyi permettent aux sœurs Muzychuk de se replacer à un rang qui correspond mieux à leur talent. Mais avec trois points de retard, il leur sera difficile de conjuguer leurs efforts pour rattraper Aleksandra Goryachkina. Un match au somment entre la Russe et Mariya lors de la dernière ronde n'est toutefois pas - encore - à exclure, si Anna l'emporte contre Aleksandra lors de la 11e ronde.
