Les échecs sont l'une des 481 disciplines dans lesquelles des compétitions sont organisées. Les 19e Jeux asiatiques se déroulent actuellement à Hangzhou. 21/02/2023 – Lorsque Wadim Rosenstein a réalisé son rêve d'enfant en réunissant un plateau de classe mondiale dans sa ville natale pour son WR Chess Masters, il n'avait pas du tout pensé aux connotations politiques. Il voulait simplement amener les échecs de haut niveau sur les rives du Rhin à Düsseldorf, et Ian Nepomniachtchi et Andrey Esipenko en faisaient partie en tant que GMs de classe mondiale.
