02/04/2026 – Pour la 59e année consécutive, Bienne accueillera son prestigieux Festival International d’Échecs. Le temps d’une quinzaine, du 11 au 24 juillet 2026, plus d’un demi-millier de participants exprimeront leur créativité, leur sens tactique et leur compréhension stratégique dans l’un des multiples formats proposés, du joueur amateur à l’élite mondiale. La présentation du programme fera l’objet d’un prochain communiqué de presse, mais les inscriptions sont d’ores et déjà ouvertes! 15/11/2025 – La FIDE a transmis une plainte formelle à sa Commission d’éthique et de discipline, mettant en cause l’ancien champion du monde Vladimir Kramnik (photo). Le dossier porte sur les accusations publiques répétées de tricherie assistée par ordinateur qu’il a portées à l’encontre des GMs Daniel Naroditsky (décédé tragiquement en octobre 2025) et David Navara.
Cette saisine fait suite à l’examen du comportement de Kramnik par le Conseil de la FIDE, qui a considéré que ces déclarations constituaient une violation potentielle du Code d’éthique, notamment en matière de respect et de dignité des joueurs.
