17/05/2020 – Après deux journées, les Russes Kateryna Lagno et Daniil Dubov ont démontré que la régularité, allié à la progressivité, paie. En marquant 3½ puis 4½, ils se retrouvent en effet chacun en tête de leur tournoi avec un total de 8 points avant la dernière ligne droite de cet après-midi. Si chez les hommes, seul Magnus Carlsen se tient à un ½ point du leader, chez les femmes, elles sont trois: Abdumalik, Kosteniuk et Tan. La Française Marie Sebag se maintient dans le milieu du classement.
